The Positive Education Certification (PEC Program™️) is the flagship program of the Center for Positive Education. Katie Ashburner from Toowoomba Positive Psychology is a Level 2 Trainer licensed to certify teachers, staff and parents through this acclaimed program.

The Positive Education Certification (PEC) Program is the first professional positive education certification program in the world. The 64-hour training program consists of 32 live hours, pre-recorded online learning and ready to plug and play tools.

Drawing on tenets of wellbeing science including Positive Psychology, Positive Education, Neuroscience and Integrative Health, certified positive educators and parents are equipped to support themselves and the children and adolescents they work with to build emotional regulation and coping strategies, willpower, personal strengths, resilience, meaningful habits, goals and the mindsets to support increased levels of engagement, wellbeing and achievement.

Those working and living with young people will learn to create environments that foster belonging, engagement, empowerment, achievement and vitality - environments in which both students and teachers can thrive.

The unique length of this program enables participants to build a community of collaborative learners over a four-month period. Through the weekly tutorials, the Positive Education Certification supports participants to apply new knowledge immediately, share experiences, access support and consolidate understandings through rich group discussions. This delivery approach is rivalled only by the university level programs; however, the Positive Education Certification Program can be accessed for a fraction of the cost.

The Positive Education Certification Program meets online, via Zoom, enabling you to join from anywhere in the world. This program can also be facilitated in-person locally.
